Rev. Christy Snow is an ordained minister with 13 years of experience in pulpit ministry and more than 18 years experience sharing keynote addresses, music, workshops, and retreats for New Thought centers, conferences, interfaith events, pride events, schools and universities across the US and in Canada.

A professional musician for over 28 years, she has 14 CDs that range from spiritual chants to Native inspired flute, guided meditation, and acoustic folk/rock. Her talks are filled with real-life anecdotes that are evocative and relatable and empower the listener to step into a greater degree of living. The accessibility in her teaching, singing, and speaking style assist others in learning how to apply life-affirming principles to their everyday life. She encourages others to “be the difference” they wish to see in the world and to become aware and take responsibility for the life our thoughts create. She says, "we can live a life fueled by passion and directed by purpose, once we realize we are the ones creating the circumstances of our lives.  Living from that empowered place we can profoundly affect positive change for our planet."

Rev. Christy became a licensed Science of Mind Minister (also known as Religious Science) in 2007 and was ordained in 2012. She stepped down from pulpit ministry in 2015 after serving in that capacity for 10 years. Early in 2017, she felt a familiar call, to once again lead a Spiritual community. Through prayer and meditation and the synchronicities that followed she began offering Sunday morning celebrations in the Lake Norman north shore area while also speaking and teaching in the central and south Charlotte areas. The connections and shared intentions that formed in 2017 revealed a strong desire from like-minded individuals from Lake Norman's north shore to south Charlotte, Gastonia to Concord to form a new spiritual center that would offer classes, events, and Sunday services to cultivate a beloved community are participate in creating a world that works for all. January 1, 2018, Awaken - Spiritual Community was born. The shared intention continues, to renew and awaken hearts and minds to the truth of our goodness, our wholeness, and our innate potential to live a bold and beautiful life and to help others do the same.
