This Thing Called You - Week 2

This Holmes classic reminds us of our Divine Nature and how to tap into it and live from it in our daily lives. This is impossible to do if we are irritated by everything that does not go our way. The Sufi saying by Rumi speaks to this: "If you are irritated by every rub, how will the mirror of your heart be polished." In the Sufi tradition this polishing the mirror of the heart, so that the Divine light can shine forth, is done through remembrance. Many other faith traditions also speak of remembrance. This Sunday we will focus on ways of remembering the truth of our being!
