WHAT WE OFFER: 

• Food Bank Free Store Emergency Assistance FundsPersonal Finance and Wealth Building WorkshopsHELLO! I’m Jermaine Nakia Lee, founder & director of POOR NO MORE. I know I’m not the only one who is sickened by the inability of Charlotte’s middle class to get ahead.  Many of our neighbors work multiple jobs and still can not make ends meet. They are what economists call the working POOR. I’m calling on all POOR NO MORE GUARDIANS (Donors & Volunteers) to assist POOR NO MORE in the following areas:
•  Donate NEW or GENTLY-USED clothing & shoes for children, men, and women as well as household items for the POOR NO MORE Free Store.    • Donate Visa, Wal-Mart, Target, or any Grocers Gift Cards ($25 minimum).   • Donate Meats, fresh fruits, fresh vegetables, and non-perishable food items to the POOR NO MORE Food Bank 
• Preferred Kitchen/Household Items: Pots/Pans • Set of Eating Utensils • Set of Plates/Bowls • Coffee maker • Toaster • Blender • Microwave • Vacuum • Curtains • Comforter Sets/Bedding • Wall Art • Lamps • Carpet • Furniture • Mattress/Box Spring • Television • Boombox/Bluetooth Player • Desktop computers • Tablets • Game Systems • Towel Sets • Shower Curtains 
• POOR NO MORE is committed to creating a hassle-free, dignified experience for all persons and families in need. Those who apply and qualify for assistance will have the opportunity to retrieve their emergency funds, shop at the free store, or/and shop in the food bank at their convenience and availability. POOR NO MORE is partnering with several community-based organizations that serve women and children, the LGBTQ community, the HIV/AIDS community, the disabled, and especially those who are homeless.

• TO QUALIFY FOR PNM SERVICES: One must be... Currently receiving FOOD STAMP benefits or Currently receiving SOCIAL SECURITY DISABILITY benefits or SENIOR CITIZENS (65 or older) OR VETERANS or THE HOMELESS FOOD BANK & FREE STORE donation drop-off’s can be arranged by calling/texting Mr. Jermaine Nakia Leeat 980-309-1318.
