Minister Shari Hill is a transformational teacher, visionary leader, and masterful spiritual coach devoted to awakening individual and collective consciousness. For more than three years, she has served with unwavering dedication on the Board of Directors at Awaken Spiritual Community, bringing wisdom, heart, and clarity to its unfolding vision and purpose.
A lifelong seeker and spiritual builder, Shari has been instrumental in founding three thriving spiritual communities across North Carolina. She was ordained through the International Academy of Metaphysics and carries a rich tapestry of credentials in

metaphysics, coaching, NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming), Reiki, and somatic healing. Her presence is both grounding and catalytic—able to activate transformation through stillness as well as bold action.
Beyond her service to Awaken, Shari is the founder of AIMSKY, a platform committed to empowering women, entrepreneurs, and visionaries to align with purpose and prosper authentically. Her forthcoming book, Heritage to Legacy, reflects her passion for helping others transmute generational narratives into conscious, purpose-driven living. She is also a devoted mother, godmother, and proud Yaya—embodying the sacred feminine in every role she fulfills.
With deep reverence for the lineage of Truth teachings and a heart of service, Shari steps into this role not to impress, but to bless. She does not seek recognition, but the opportunity to hold sacred space, speak life, and shepherd others into the awareness of their own Divinity. She is honored to serve Awaken with courageous love, uncompromising clarity, and radical grace.
Rev. Ned Green
Minister of Education
Ned Green has been a student of New Thought since 1970 when he was in high school in the Virginia suburbs of Washington DC. He moved to Charlotte, North Carolina in 1976 and was active in the newly formed Charlotte Church of Religious Science in 1978. He took Science of Mind classes with many of the ministers over the years. He earned a Science of Mind practitioner license in 1999. He earned a ministerial license from Centers for Spiritual Living (formally known as Church of Religious Science) in 2008. He served as an assistant minister with Reverends Christy Snow and Renee’ LeBoa. In 2011 he moved to COLORS to serve as assistant minister for Reverend Claire Middleton. In 2015 he started his own center the Queen City Center for Spiritual Living. It shut down in 2020 because of covid. He later joined Awaken Spiritual Community and served with Reverend Christy Snow once again as assistant minister. Now he serves with Minister Shari Hill at Awaken Spiritual Community. He is a passionate student of New Thought and the Science of Mind and looks forward to serving and promoting this wonderful teaching going forward.

We joyfully honor Rev. Christy Snow as our Emeritus Spiritual Director. Her visionary leadership, inclusive heart, and steadfast commitment to Science of Mind principles helped shape Awaken’s culture of love, wisdom, and spiritual practice. Rev. Christy continues to inspire our community as a teacher and spiritual presence, and we bless her ongoing contributions to the evolution of Awaken.
