About the event

In conjunction with the Association for Global New Thought 's (AGNT) Season for Humane Service , our gracious Members Chuck & Michele Sevacko are creating a unique and heart-centric dining experience for us in their home.

This dinner is a beautiful opportunity for us to come together as a community to heighten our empathy for those who regularly do not have enough to eat due to a variety of circumstances, while raising awareness of those who are hungry in our region of North Carolina.

A modest dinner will be served, comprised of rice, beans, veggies and water. Everyone in attendance will be asked to donate the amount that would typically spend on a meal. All the donations from this Fundraiser will go directly to our homeless brothers and sisters.

One of our CCSA members, Steven Tilley , works with Charlotte's hungry, and homeless community on a daily basis. During this Dinner of Compassion , he will present more about why he has been called to this work, what tools he has to support the work, and the changes he's seen in the population he works with.
