BACK TO SCHOOL: PROJECT BACKPACK!

Back-to-School: Project BACKPACK!

We're continuing to collect backpacks and bookbags during the month of August to donate to the children at a low income apartment complex in Huntersville. This is part of a yearly project by one of our Board Members, Sally Razack & the number of children in need has grown steadily over the last few years. It's expected they'll need approximately 35-45 bookbags this year, for kids ranging from kindergarten to high school!

*** We are also asking that with each donation, you also include an affirmative note inside the backpack or bookbag. If you've already made your donation, you can just bring the note to Sunday service and we will add it to your, or another's backpack or bookbag donation!

Examples of what to include on your note:

"This is your year to shine!"

"We know your heart and mind will bring you much success this year!"

"Your school year is going to be so great!" ***
